Preparing for the Digital Economy: Why Crypto Feels Like 1997 Again

Charlie Stivers Introduction: If Duane McHodgins, our computer specialist and author, had known Charlie Stivers during the Pandemic, he certainly would have included Charlie in his book, “Lessons from the Business Heroes of the Pandemic.” Charlie bought his first bitcoin and ethereum during the Pandemic and with all that time extensively researched Cryptocurrency as he transitioned from financial advisor to crypto mentor. “As a financial advisor, I had become disenchanted with Wall Street,” he explains, “I began advising alternative investments to my clients such as self-directed IRAs, gold, real estate and REITS.” His quest was so intensive, he began sharing crypto knowledge by publishing a magazine called GOO$E in 2023. Charlie grew up on a cattle ranch in western New Jersey. Denver was an annual destination to attend the stock show. His family moved to the Denver area when he was a high school freshman, and Charlie never left. He is active in the lives of his 16-year-old son and 15-year-old daughter. He enjoys fly fishing and attending outdoor sports. His business focus is helping the crypto industry pivot and his clients from speculation to real world application. Let’s welcome Charlie as we learn about the digital economy of crypto, Block Chain and Web 3.0.

Then in 1984 he came to Denver to visit a friend and landed at Stapleton Airport, One look at those mountains, and he decided to stay. Doug’s career plan was becoming a forest firefighter. However, all the jobs were going to minority candidates. So Doug planned to attend the two-month academy in firefighting to increase his eligibility. She then worked for 10 years in the financial industry. Six and a half years ago, she was working 80-hour weeks in her corporate position and traveling.
