?About
I grew up on a dirt road across from Williams Lake in Michigan. In summer I put on my bathing suit first thing in the morning and was in and out of the water all day. Also, loved going to our cabin in northern Michigan where my dad taught me and my brother Charley and sister DeeDee to fish with bamboo poles. These days I still love swimming and water aerobics. I graduated with majors in English and French from Western Michigan University, then came west to teach for Jefferson County. Middle schoolers were the end of my teaching career, so I attended journalism school at the University of Colorado Boulder, then worked in writing, advertising and public relations positions until John and I started our family. (Our two sons Drew and Greg are now in their 40’s and live in the mountains where they love fishing.) As an at- home mom, I began freelance writing for historical and construction publications. (I continue enjoying Colorado history as a walking tour guide in downtown Denver.) Had a difficult year in 1998-99 as John fought cancer and passed in ’99. That began my health quest. I discovered ASEA in 2010 just before knee replacement surgery. My recovery compared to the first knee replacement in 2006 was so much better: less discomfort and faster healing. These cell-signaling molecules in ASEA are miraculous and have enabled me to maintain good health as I age.
