My dad was a project manager at Western Bell, AT&T and Lucent Tech, so I moved around a lot as a child, we lived in Colorado, California, Colorado, New Jersey, Illinois, and back to Colorado for good. I graduated from Cherry Creek High School, and pursued my football career at the University of Northern Colorado, majoring in business. I did not finish college playing football however, I stopped playing after my Sophomore year and began playing Rugby for the UNC Club team making life-long friends and having great experiences. I began my career in banking right after I graduated College, as a management trainee. I became an operations manager at my first branch in 1999. After succeeding there, I was recruited by the district office to come mentor and work for the District Ops Manger in a number of different capacities. This gave me background and knowledge in banking that could not be replicated by teaching. I got my first Branch Sales Manager role in 2005, opened a De Novo in 2008, and managed 3 other branches prior to deciding to become a business banker in 2016. I was now back as a Branch Manager at Vectra Bank.
